Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python or Go programming languages
- Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux systems
- Experience with distributed systems and backend development
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database management
- Familiarity with web services (REST, SOAP) and automation tools
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance analysis skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Redis, etcd, or similar caching solutions
- Development with Chef (Ruby), Chef recipes, and configuration management
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and containerization technologies
- Familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth and system compliance standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven track record supporting multiple lines of business in complex enterprise environments
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work onsite three days per week in New York City
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work setting
- Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving mindset
